Absolute Midnight is supposed to come out this september, actually. I think the fact that he's still illustrating it has held things up a bit, but it's definitely on the way. I've seen a few odds and ends about it on his website and they look wonderful.

This is awesome work! I like how you drew her. The color are outstanding, and there are lots of little 'finds' as you look around. Interesting how she's in the light and you discover him and the cat sleeping peacefully in the shadows at the bottom. Everybody looks content. Fantastic composition and rendering. :)

A fine diptych. The rigor of HELL versus the fluidity of HEAVEN creates an immediate emotional response. (Imagine YOU having a bowl of shrooms growing on your bookshelf!)

I've never done shrooms or any form hallucinogenic, actually. I just like being surrounded by growing things, and regular plants get a bit boring.

A spectacular image, truly beautiful rendition of a personal heaven. I love the detail, the colour combination works fantastically, and the outlining is spot-on. Scrolling down to reveal the man in shadow really completed the piece overall for me. Wonderful work!
